It’s beginning to feel quite a lot like Christmas!

Christmas is on the way – it’s official! Advent has begun and later this week I will be opening the first door on my calendar.  Rosie and I were definitely enjoying some festive spirit at Bath Christmas Market last Friday.  This is one of our favourite things to do at this time of year, we both absolutely love the small artisan stalls clustered around the narrow streets near the Abbey ….

Christmas Market Stalls

Especially the ones offering delicious yummy food haha!!  Totally recommend these sausage rolls …..

And these macaroons were amazing!  We took a little while to decide on our flavours, but in the end we plumped (and we will be if we carry on like this!) for salted caramel (me) and Nutella (Rosie) …..

But in the end of course, Christmas isn’t just about lovely things to eat and plump little robins …..

Which is why it’s so lovely that Bath Abbey is always at the heart of the Market…..

Bath Abbey

On such a lovely crisp and cold, but beautifully sunny day.  A wonderful beginning to the Christmas season!

Thank you for sharing the beginning of your Christmas festivities with us. I love the booths, especially Little Jack Horner’s, and the shot of the Abbey with the robins in the trees above the booths was charming – so you and Rosie won’t be the only plump robins – haha! Enjoy the Christmas season.
