Well done Primrose, Etsy Sale and free pattern for you…..

I hope you had a lovely Easter holiday and, unlike me, didn’t eat too much chocolate!  As well as eggs of the chocolate variety we were delighted to discover our first egg in the nesting boxes a couple of days after Easter.  I know that Primrose was responsible as she’s the only one of the four who will lay bluish green eggs. Well done Primrose and I hope your “sisters” will soon be following your most egg-cellent (groan) example!

You may remember that last week I held an Easter sale over on the Bustle & Sew website.  After it ended I had a number of disappointed emails from people who hadn’t made a purchase for one of two main reasons… either they didn’t receive notification of the sale in time, or they preferred to shop on Etsy.  So, as I really don’t want anyone to miss out, I’ve decided to hold a short sale over in my Etsy shop just for this weekend.  There’s 30% off everything except the magazine annual subscription and you don’t need a code, the reduced prices are already applied.

Just CLICK HERE if you’d like to visit Etsy and take a look.

And finally….

As we head towards the Coronation, I’ve been rummaging around to see what I have in my collection, and came across this Scrappy Union Jack design that I created over a decade ago for the London 2012 Olympics.  I think that it would be equally suitable for the Coronation though, and may even turn it into a super-large banner for the centre of my patriotic bunting.

I thought you might like it too, so I’ve dusted the pattern down, updated it a little, and below is the link to download the free pdf file.
