A New Free Pattern for You

One of the things I most enjoyed last month – our month of celebrations for our 100th issue – was the opportunity to go back through all our issues, revisiting patterns and projects from nearly a decade ago, some of which I’d almost entirely forgotten about!  I think some are worth revisiting and updating, reflecting the changes that have taken place, and one of those is my little Afternoon Nap Dormouse.  I think he was almost the very first pattern I ever designed and now he’s back…..

…. or at least he will be in the September issue, so just a little while to wait.  But there’s no need to wait for our latest free pattern – this one is brand new, from the current issue – my Dancing Ballerina. In contrast to the dense fill stitching of the mouse, this is a very simple design, (very suitable for beginner or less experienced stitchers) but being simple, it’s important to concentrate on technique – and in particular the smoothness of your back stitching.

She’s available to download in our Free Newsletter Readers’ pattern library.  If you don’t currently subscribe to our newsletter and would like to receive this pattern, then please do consider joining.  It’s absolutely free and is the best way to keep up with all the news from Bustle & Sew HQ.  Newsletter Readers are also usually first in line when it comes to special offers and sales.  Please do be reassured though, I don’t usually write to you more than once a week, and I NEVER share your details with anyone else – so there’s no fear that your inbox will suddenly be filled with junk mail.

Just CLICK HERE to receive our newsletter and access exclusive free designs (including the Dancing Ballerina above).
