It is at this time of year that time seems to telescope towards me, and Christmas that just a week or two ago was comfortably far ahead is now only (as my Advent calendar tells me) 15 sleeps away. There are Nativity plays and carol concerts to look forward to, a trip to the theatre and much more besides as well as decorations to hang, mince pies to bake and Ted to take for his pre-Christmas grooming appointment (well a dog has to look his best on the Big Day!). But even amongst all this busy-ness I think it’s important to take a little time for yourself, and what better way to do so, in my opinion anyway, than with a little sewing!
