Magazine Preview

The July issue of the Bustle & Sew e-zine (I’ve started to call it an e-zine rather than a magazine to avoide confusion) is coming along nicely- and is remarkable value – everything in the preview above (and probably a bit more too if I can squeeze in some extras – I usually do!) delivered to your in-box each month for just $5.50. Quite an amazing bargain in fact- although I do say so myself!!

And if you’ve been thinking about subscribing, as always the last week of the month is a great time to do so as you’ll receive the current issue (June) immediately, closely followed by the July issue on Thursday.  To learn more please visit the magazine page

I’ll be sending a free pattern  later on to all of my newsletter readers – check out my “Rosie’s Recipes” design on page 12 of the preview.   If you’d like it and don’t already receive my free newsletter you can ensure you receive it by signing-up via the box in the right-hand sidebar.

Hi, I’m a long time stalker of your gorgeous blog, and lover of your adorable crafts which have inspired me to have a go at embroidery while at uni 🙂 I had to leave a comment to tell you that picture in the magazine of the figures on the map is just so cute and to ask you where it’s from, and if its yours is it available? I am dwelling on redecorating my box room (as i move back home!) with a map theme.
Thanks so much for all your hard work from up in the north!

Hi Hannah

I use a site called 123rf.com for the stock photos in my magazine – backgrounds and so on – and this is where I found this one. You have to pay of course, but the charges are very reasonable .. here’s the url for the photo you like:

Thanks for lovely comments about my blog – hope you’re enjoying your new hobby of embroidery.
