Some time ago a very lovely (and patient!) customer asked if I would make her an “Owls in Love” cushion cover as she had fallen in love with the design, but wasn’t confident enough to stitch her own. I am sorry to say that she has had to wait some time, but now I am a little less busy I’ve finally put the finishing touches to her cover. I’ve tweaked my owls a little – you can see the original here – making these more summery and using more vintage and repurposed fabrics for added visual interest. I’ve also machine appliqued the owls with just hand-stitched details.
