Free funky chick pattern .. but sshhhh – don’t show Rosie!

I mentioned in my last post that I’d acquired a large box of vintage patterns with dates ranging across the 20th century.  Last time I shared one of the earliest, and now I’d like to share one of the later ones with you… but don’t tell Rosie!!  I’ve chosen this really funky 1970s bird and incorporated it into a simple patchwork cushion for her new flat which I’ll be giving her next week.
I think you can see the pattern more clearly in this picture. I chose a cheerful, vibrant selection of colours – in a blog I was reading somewhere (can’t remember who, so if by any small chance you’re reading this, thank you) I came across the description “Electric Melon” which I think describes them really well.  If you’d like the pattern, then you can download it here – it’s absolutely free.  Hope you like it!  But don’t show Rosie – not until next week anyway!

Lovely embroidery and great choice of fabrics, CK I think? I'm sure Rosie will love it.

Thank you for the pattern I'm sure my Mum stitched something very similar in the 70s. The mix of fabrics in your cushion look very pretty.

Thank you for the fun design! Colors are lovely and so happy and 'Spring-like'. Certainly makes me smile, and I bet Rosie will smile, too!
