On the beach at Lannacombe … another of Rosie’s photos of Ben & Daisy at the beach. This one’s just crying out for a caption, but I can’t think of one… can anyone else?

Rosie came to visit this weekend and, after the vet advised that Daisy would be quite safe below the high water mark, where the beach is washed twice daily, and away from other dogs (her innoculations are not yet complete), we decided to introduce her to our very favourite beach … Lannacombe. Ben took charge …..
“OK, youngster …pay attention now – just watch and learn .. “
“Woooo ….. hoooo …… theees issss what you doooooo …….”
“Eeeeek, he’s a long way away … not too sure I can do that yet. Come back here Big Bro!”
“Nothing to worry about, little one … perhaps you’d rather roll around on the sand?”
“Pose nicely now … our humans love to take photos of us”
Soon Rosie was carrying a very sleepy baby dog back to the car.
And that was Daisy’s first trip to Lannacombe.

We are lucky to live close to one of the loveliest beaches (I think!) in Devon. Lannacombe is only accessible by a muddy, bumpy lane and it’s wonderful at this time of year. I’ve been taking Ben there since he was a tiny puppy, firstly with Amy (who sadly is no longer with us) and now just him and me. He usually finds some friends to play with, but on this visit it was just him, me, and the beach!
I’ve only just got hold of this video editing package and I think I need to practise a bit more – particularly on the captions, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.
